sondr is an iOS app for tracking time spent on the things you're working on, marking milestones and sharing them with friends. It is run by Tanaka Bere ("we", "us"), who is responsible for your data. Contact: support@s-ndr.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address or your Sign in with Apple identifier (which may be an Apple private relay address), your handle and display name.
- What you track: task names, the time you log and when, habits and whether you completed them.
- Photos and posts: photos you take in the app, captions, posts you share, comments and likes.
- Social connections: friend requests, friends, and accounts you block.
- Reports you send us about content or accounts.
- If you tell us who invited you to sondr, we record that.
- Technical data our service provider needs to run the app, such as app instance identifiers.
You can use sondr as a guest without an account. Guest data is stored the same way and moves to your account if you create one.
What we don't do
No advertising. No analytics or tracking. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone for marketing.
Who can see what
Your tracked time, habits and photos are private unless you share them. Posts you share are visible to your friends. Your handle and total hours are visible to other signed-in users, so friends can find you. Friends can also see your shared milestones and posts. If you block someone, they can't see your profile or posts.
Why we use your data
To provide the app you asked for (the contract between us), and to keep sondr safe: handling reports, removing content that breaks our terms, and protecting accounts (our legitimate interests).
Where your data is stored
sondr uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) to store and process data. Google may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, under its data processing terms and the safeguards they include. Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple. Emails to support@s-ndr.com are handled by Apple iCloud Mail.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app at any time; this deletes your account, tracked time, photos, posts, comments and connections. Reports may be kept for up to 12 months where needed to deal with abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email support@s-ndr.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
sondr is not for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has an account, we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
